Cassandra Monique Batie aka Andra Day is a American R&B/Soul songwriter and singer. She is the recipient of many awards, including an Grammy Award a Children's and Family Emmy Award and a Golden Globe Award along with nominations for the Academy Award. Andra Day, a talented musician and singer with a background in gospel music and blues that has a passion for the modern world is not just an R&B throwback specialist. Her ability to blend the influences of jazz, gospel and blues in the R&B style is quite impressive. Her debut album Cheers To The Autumn (2015) is a smash record in the hiphop/R&B genre which earned her a variety of Grammy and Academy Award nominations. Stand Up for Something (2017), her contribution to Marshall's soundtrack, earned her both awards. Amen (2019), Make Your Troubles Gone Away (2021) as well as a Golden Globe award-winning portrayal as Billie Holiday for The United States Vs. Billie Holiday (2017) has helped to build anticipation. Andra Day was birthed Cassandra Monique Batie, in Edmonds Washington. She grew as a child in San Diego and the metropolitan area. Day's fan base on YouTube grew fast after she formed a team with Gurvitz, Jeffrey Evans and Buskin. Day ultimately reached a deal with a major record label in partnership with Warner Bros. DJs began playing the track at the radio. The singer later joined Warner Bros. Records and began work with the producer Adrian Gurvitz to record the album that she released as her debut, Cheers to the Autumn (2015). The album included the single Rise Up that became an song for the social justice movement across the globe. Day won two Grammy nominations for the field of Best R&B Album for her album. The United States Versus Billie Holiday was her second album which was released in 2019. It was a conceptual record about the life of Billie Holiday. In addition, she was a part of The United States vs. Billie Holiday, a film on Holiday. Andi matichak (born August 25, 1970) is an American actor. She first appeared in television series like 666 Park Avenue, Orange Is the New Black and Blue Bloods before making her movie debut in the role of Allyson Nelson, in the horror film series Halloween as well as its sequels. Andi matichak is a American actress born on 03 May 1994 in Framingham in Massachusetts.
